"Unfolding Naturally"

“We not only respect babies, we demonstrate our respect every time we interact with them. Respecting a child means treating even the youngest infant as a unique human being, not as an object – Magda Gerber”

Come along and join a small group of babies and their parents as we explore together in a relaxed and respectful way how our babies unfold naturally, explore and play.

This is a small group of no more than 6 infants, in an infant friendly environment. This class will initially run for 6 weeks and is for infants from around 4-8 months.

Some topics of discussion during these sessions may include:

  • Age-appropriate expectations
  • The importance of play in children’s learning
  • Balancing parents’ and children’s needs and wants
  • Establishing clear, consistent, and appropriate limits
  • Adapting the home environment as baby grows

Where: Richmond Early Learning Centre

When: To be confirmed – this is a 6 week commitment.

These classes will be facilitated by Ilana Edlin and Nardine Rhind, Ilana and Nardine are mothers, early childhood specialists and RIE foundation students who are passionate and dedicated to infant and toddler care.
